The twelfe tracks here offer no respite for the listener, wether they're hard n' heavy or soulful and balladesque. The band create the most intense absorbing experience, and for me, this is an earlier album of the year contender.

Nein, ganz im Gegenteil, die Schweizer haben über all die Jahre ihren ganz eigenen Sound kreiert, mit dem sie trotz aller Härte und Power eine unglaublich atmosphärische und positive Energie verbreiten.

Überraschenderweise schaffen es RIZON mit "Prime Time", ein erstes Highlight dieses gar nicht mehr so jungen Jahres abzuliefern. Ein wunderschön stimmiges Album, das durch gelungene Kompositionen und absolut tadellose Umsetzung besticht. In diesen verrückten Zeiten ist "Prime Time" für mich sowas wie ein kleiner Seelenwärmer, der zugleich genug Power in sich trägt, um den ganzen Wahnsinn rundum für eine gute Stunde auszublenden.

The energy level is off the scale, Rizon ending their new album as it began – in a highly infectious manner. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable romp of melodic power metal with a highly infectious and catchy nature.

Plötzlich ist eine stilistische Vielfalt hörbar, die in dieser Form nicht zu erwarten war. Wer nicht gleich beim ersten Hördurchgang aufgibt, findet hier ein tolles Album, das wirklich rockt. Schön wäre jetzt bloss gewesen, wenn sich dieser "Aha-Effekt" gleich sofort eingestellt hätte. Aber das ist definitiv Kritik auf hohem Niveau.

Rizon had six years to come out with some new material and they have done a great job on their new release. This album has great vocals by both singers, with some awesome guitar work, followed up with some great sounding bass playing, drums and keyboards. All together, great work by all members of the band, recording this treat for all the fans and listeners.

One member change occurred in the six-year period between records as vocalist Anastasia Panagiotou joined the fold in 2020, and given this scribe’s first exposure to the group, there’s plenty to digest, raise fists, and catch attention due to solid vocal interplay, smart musical underpinning, plus extended attention to the smaller details for long-term retention.

Die Schweizer sind nicht unbedingt langsam unterwegs – ja, zugegeben, Klischee -, sondern zocken höchst melodischen Power Metal, der gekonnt serviert und mit weiblichen und männlichen Vocals garniert wird.

Un altro passo avanti dunque per i Rizon, che ci consegnano uno dei loro migliori lavori sin dalla loro formazione. Pensavo la stessa cosa anche quando ho avuto modo di ascoltare il precedente 'Power Plant', ma evidentemente il songwriting ha ancora l'asticella puntata in alto, e speriamo vi rimanga ancora per molto.
